Specifications
MasterFormat-numbered, 3-part specifications for every Maverick system. Each section is written to stand up in a competitive bid: closed where performance matters, open where it does not.
How These Sections Are Written
Every Maverick specification follows the CSI 3-part format — Part 1 General, Part 2 Products, Part 3 Execution — and is coordinated with the standard details in our Details & Drawings library. Substrate preparation, moisture testing, mock-ups, and installer qualifications are written into Part 1 and Part 3, so workmanship is enforceable, not assumed.
- Performance-based Part 2 — compressive strength, bond strength, abrasion resistance, and cure-time criteria with referenced ASTM test methods.
- Single-source clause — flooring system, joint filler, and repair mortar from one manufacturer, installed by manufacturer-approved crews.
- Edit-ready — request any section as an editable document; bracketed options flag the decisions that need a project-specific answer.
- Coordinated companions — Division 03 and 07 sections cross-reference the flooring section so scope gaps don't surface at bid time.
