MavJoint JF

Joint Fillers & Sealants

Joints fail before floors do. Every unfilled control joint is an edge waiting for a hard wheel — MavJoint JF semi-rigid joint filler supports that edge, protects the shoulders, and seals the slab clean.

The First Place a Floor Fails

Hard polyurethane forklift wheels concentrate enormous load on a contact patch the size of a coin. When that wheel crosses an open joint, the unsupported edge chips — and every pass makes it worse. MavJoint JF transfers that load across the joint instead of into it.

MavJoint JF is a two-component, semi-rigid joint filler for control and construction joints, installed full depth in saw-cut joints and shaved flush for a clean, seamless profile. It's rigid enough to carry wheel loads and flexible enough to tolerate normal slab movement — the balance that flexible caulks and rigid epoxies both get wrong. It also prevents debris accumulation in the joint.

Semi-Rigid Full-Depth Fill Shaved Flush 6 Standard Colors

Why Facilities Specify MavJoint JF

  • Protects joint shoulders from hard-wheel impact and progressive spalling.
  • Shaved flush — no concave caulk profile to trap debris or catch wheels.
  • Seals out washdown water, fines, and bacteria in sanitary environments.
  • Fast turnaround — shave in under two hours, traffic the same shift.
  • Performs in freezers and ambient slabs alike, −20 °F to 140 °F service.
  • Six standard colors to match the slab, the coating, or the brand.

MavJoint JF Joint Cross-Section

Full-depth fill of the saw cut, placed slightly proud and shaved flush after initial set — the profile that carries wheel loads across the joint.

MavJoint JF filler fills the saw cut full depth and is shaved flush with the floor surface. The induced shrinkage crack continues below the saw cut.
